Perhaps you have heard of the church of Christ through advertisement or surfing websites through internet or by special invitation from its members. Maybe there is a building in your community where the church of Christ meets, and you have considered attending one of their worship services. But you have put it off simply because of the dread of going to a strange place, not knowing what to expect.

May we briefly introduce ourselves and let you know what to expect when you visit us.  About our congregation, we are a growing group of Christians dedicated to helping others, and sharing the gospel of Christ with the people in Jasper, Crossroads community, and the world around us.  Friendliness is a natural response of a Christian. We believe that one of the basic foundation principles of Christianity is love and friendship toward our fellowman (Matthew 22:36-40).  When you come and visit us at Crossroads, you can expect a warm friendly welcome.  If you do planning to visit us but you may not know where we are located, please click on "Maps" at the left side menu and you would be able to see the map at the next page.

True Christianity recognizes no social or racial differences (Galatians 3:28). Neither does it permit respect of persons on the basis of poverty or wealth (James 2:1-9). Jesus is our superb example in friendliness, in that He was compassionate toward all humanity, regardless of their status in life. We were sinners but we are alive in Christ through our faith. We believe you will find that same spirit among Christians today. 

The Internet is a great place to find quality reference material. We want you to know that all biblical resources contained in our site; however, these resources are not intended to replace public worship but rather as providing Bible reference materials. We have five Bible Study Correspondence Courses, you may order them and you will find any biblical information from them. The Bible Study tools and its resources are free to everyone. 

Our mission is to spread the Word of God by using computer technology to expand God's kingdom and share the Gospel with all Internet users. Apostle Paul said, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written," "The just shall live by faith" (Romans 1:16, 17 NKJ).

We want you to know that our proper motivation behind the use of this site is to glorify and magnify Christ -- not to win an argument. Apologetic is not for proving the Word of God but simply for providing a basis of faith, hope, and love. One should have a gentle and reverent spirit when using apologetic: "But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to every one who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence" (1 Peter 3:15).
